New York Skateparks: Midland Beach (Ben Soto)

People complained about this park when it opened in 2011 because it has no transition.   But, I think it's pretty fun and a cool idea.  There are at least 20 obstacles to choose from, including a few from the original LES park in NYC.  Go session it!

New York Skateparks: Nyack

This is a pretty fun park, but small.  The strip in the middle can work like a mini ramp.  One side has a box, round rail, curved ledge, then drop/box......Go check it out!

New York Skateparks: Canarsie

This park is nearby NJ in Canarsie, Brooklyn.  This is great park with an awesome snake run.  There's plenty of ledges, rails and stairs as well as a nice half pipe.   Great place to visit!

New Jersey Skateparks: Hamilton

Pretty cool that this park is still open after all these years, and in good condition.  The perfect half pipe is the real attraction.

New Jersey Skateparks: Franklin

Prefab stylings in Franklin NJ near Brunswick.  Tough to flow.....steep banks and super high ledges.  Ground is a bit bumpy.  Still pretty fun with very little damage.  Probably best for BMX.

New Jersey Skateparks: Fanwood

Fanwood NJ is near Plainfield.  This rich town fought against a skatepark for years, but it's finally here.  So stop with the stickers, graffiti and garbage.  If they don't like the affect it's having, they'll remove it, believe me.  They did that in Fort Lee.  Police also patrol and tell you to leave if you're not wearing a helmet.

Another Spohn Ranch NJ plaza open now.

New Jersey Skateparks: West New York

The mini ramp is sweet, pretty much perfect.  There's a flat square bar.  The rest of the ramps have some issues.   Still a fun park in a cool setting with a NYC midtown view.  Free parking on the street.
